Sonaplon Bracing System

Sonaplon bracing systems give a quick and easy way to keep the Sonotube forms straight as they are setup.

Each set includes:
• A woven strap
• A strap-tightener
• Two adjustable nut and bolt devices (for fixing with push-pull props)
• An instruction notice

The two metal devices can easily glide along the strap in order to adjust to each tube diameter.
Sonaplon is available in two sizes: (1) up to diameter 800mm, and (2) above 800mm.

Setup:

Setup is easy and does not necessitates any additional equipment (except 2 push-pull props). La mise en place est simple et ne nécessite aucun équipement particulier.

1) Insert the strap into the metal pieces

2) Brace the strap around the tube

3) Place the metal devices at a 90° angle

4) Tighten the strap. Beware not to tighten too hard as it might damage the tube.     (The strap can support a maximum charge of 1500 kg)

5) Fix the props on the nuts and tighten with a B15 or hexagonal bolt.

Sonaplon should only be used to maintain the tubes in a perfect vertical position. Sonaplon cannot be used for maintaining the forms in an inclined position.
